Running The Indie Music Promotion – Why You Require A System?

Do you want to see your Indie music takes on a new life? Well, follow these simple steps to take on a new direction and new journey, which will have lasting effects on your musical career.

1. Stop thinking in spurts and pushes, and start thinking marathon! It's not a sprint, so Do Something Every day. Indie Music Promotion has to be something that you work on every day to engage with fans. Doing a big media blitz is fine, but it can't be the only time you are engaging and working to promote your music. So stop thinking that one big push is going to catapult you into success, and accept the idea that small promotional activities on a daily basis are the best way to make fans care about your long term.

2. Reply and respond to your fans! This seems so simple, but it can't be ignored. If a fan cares enough to take time out of their day to shout at you, then return the love. I promise you they will remember it and shout your name from rooftops.

3. Set up a spreadsheet and find a new media source: - blog or indie radio station to send your music to every day. Just think, take this one simple step and 365 new people, at least, will have access to your music.

4. Work on some cross-promotion: - They have fans, you have fans, and together you all would have more fans. So seek out some similar artists and find out how you can help each other. Be interesting in your social media.

5. Don't just promote your music all the time: - Let a person see things that interest you. Maybe it's part of that cross-promotion, maybe its pictures. One good idea is to offer up, only to your followers, a jam session video, or ruff mixes. Whatever you do with your Top Podcast Platforms, remember it's how fans will start to learn and care about your success. The goal here is as your fans start to grow, the fans have an easy logical connection between who you are and your music. People are crushed with messages from all areas. So keep it brief, in line with your personality, and it's OK to be repetitive in a different way. It is possible your 1st message slipped through the cracks.

If you have a brand or logo for your band. Make sure it is prevalent and consistent. Don’t confuse people.

Final Words

Don’t be afraid to be different. You are a musician, after all, so be creative on what you are offering. Be fun and innovative in what you offer. Don’t let the fear of the unknown keep you from being successful. Make a plan, be consistent, and stick to it.
